Vietnamese & Chinese leaders hold talks in Beijing

Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks after an official welcome ceremony held for the latter in Beijing on June 26.

This is the first official visit to China by Prime Minister Chinh and the first by a Vietnamese Prime Minister in seven years.

The visit will focus on measures to boost cooperation between the two countries in economy and trade, in particular the exchange of goods between borders and localities.

During his stay, Prime Minister Chinh will attend important meetings within the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC) of the World Economic Forum (WEF), and hold bilateral meetings with WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab and leaders of a number of countries and international organizations.

He will also take part in the Vietnam - China Business Forum during his visit.
