According to the ministry, between 2022 and 2025, the deployment of Vietnamese laborers to work abroad has been steadily maintained and developed, showing a robust recovery following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The number of Vietnamese laborers sent abroad under contracts has reached between 130,000 and 150,000 people annually. Specifically, the figures stood at 142,000 in 2022; 170,355 in 2023; 157,243 in 2024; and 144,345 in 2025.
