Organized annually since 2020, the “Make in Viet Nam” Digital Product Awards program aims to implement Prime Ministerial Directive No. 01/CT-TTg on promoting the development of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises.
The program honors Vietnamese intellect by showcasing digital products researched, designed, created, and manufactured in Vietnam that address key national challenges and expand into global markets. Beyond recognition, it supports commercial promotion, investment attraction, and market expansion for domestic tech firms.
Marking its seventh edition in 2026, the program continues to celebrate exceptional digital products that embody Vietnamese ingenuity, drive comprehensive digital transformation, and foster the adoption of AI and smart manufacturing across economic sectors.
The initiative supports Vietnam's goal of mastering core, foundational, and strategic technologies, thereby boosting productivity, operational quality, and national economic competitiveness.
The 2026 edition features eight categories, including five sector-specific application groups spanning industry and construction, agriculture and natural resources, transport and logistics, education and healthcare, and finance, banking, and trade.
Special categories continue to recognize products going global, while the newly introduced AI category underscores Vietnam’s focus on strategic emerging technologies.
Online submissions opened on August 28 at https://giaithuongmakeinvietnam.mst.gov.vn and will run through October 15, with the official award ceremony scheduled for December 2026.
During six editions from 2020 to 2025, the awards attracted nearly 1,500 entries, with the Organizing Committee honoring 299 outstanding digital products.
Many award-winning innovations have been widely applied in practice, solving practical development issues, scaling across domestic and international markets, and contributing significantly to the national digital transformation strategy.
