The Vinaconex Joint Stock Company has signed a contract with the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation Works in northern mountainous Ha Giang province to build a section of the first phase of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway.

Vinaconex will build a 12.5-km section in Ha Giang province at an estimated cost of nearly VND900 billion ($37.6 million) over the course of 30 months.

This is one of three contract packages for the first phase of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway, which has a total length of 27.44 km.

The three contract packages have total investment of over VND2.58 trillion ($108 million), with construction planned for 2022-2025.

Site clearance and compensation are expected to be completed before June.
