Authorities in northern Vinh Phuc province have called for Italian businesses to invest in fields of priority such as the circular economy, high technology, semiconductors, and new materials.
Speaking at a roundtable in Rome on July 26 on investment in the province, Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vĩnh Phuc province, said it will create favorable conditions for Italian investors.
Projects relating to sustainable development such as green energy, high technology, and environmental pollution treatment will receive investment incentives, including tax and land rental reductions. They will also be assisted in quickly completing administrative procedures, she said.
The roundtable attracted over 30 Italian businesses and associations in various fields, including tourism, restaurants, hotels, construction, furniture, automation, import and export, and green energy.
Vinh Phuc had attracted 453 FDI projects to date as of June, with total investment of nearly $7.76 billion.
