Analysts and businesses will discuss the development of “Make in Vietnam” 5G devices and opportunities to promote 5G service commercialization at a webinar hosted by VnEconomy / Vietnam Economic Times on VnEconomy and its fanpage from 9am on August 25.

5G is considered as important infrastructure to boost digital transformation and the digital economy and serve the Internet of Things (IoT). The commercialization of 5G services as well as Make in Vietnam 5G devices and technology have drawn great attention from management agencies, businesses, and the community.

Vietnam plans to commercialize the 5G network in 2023, with some 5G devices to be produced by local manufacturers to help raise the autonomy and technological development capacity of local businesses.

The webinar is expected to provide participants with a comprehensive picture of the development of 5G around the world and in Vietnam, particularly mechanisms and policies to speed up the commercialization of 5G in Vietnam.
