VnEconomy / Vietnam Economic Times (VET) organized a signing ceremony on February 1 for an MoU on cooperation with the University of Economics and Business (UEB) at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU).

VnEconomy will cooperate in organizing and widely publicizing reports, in-depth economic analyses, and policy advice conducted by the faculty and experts at the UEB. It will also organize practical programs to share specialized knowledge and skills with students and coordinate reporting at major events organized by UEB.

The cooperative agreement aims to enhance the dissemination of information and in-depth economic analysis to a wide audience, particularly influential groups such as businesses, organizations, and large economic corporations. Through cooperative information-sharing activities, both parties will also gain additional specialized materials to support their respective operations.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Chu Van Lam, Editor-in-Chief of VnEconomy / VET, praised the strong development of UEB and reiterated the longstanding partnership between the media group and the university. He also emphasized that there are many points of mutual support in the purposes and principles in the activities of both parties.

“The strength of the university lies in research, while the strength of Vietnam Economic Times lies in disseminating information,” he emphasized. “We must closely link the research process and results with the dissemination of research findings.”

“In addition to information dissemination, VnEconomy / VET is also a source of data for university faculty and experts to enrich their knowledge, and also gives students an opportunity to improve their economic data collection skills.”

Dr. Lam expressed his confidence that with the establishment of numerous relationships with businesses and large organizations such as VnEconomy, UEB will make even greater strides forward in the future. He added that VnEconomy / VET stands ready to accept outstanding students from the university for internships.

From the university’s side, Associate Professor Nguyen Truc Le, Rector of the UEB’s Board of Management, affirmed that establishing a cooperative relationship with VnEconomy / VET is an important step for the university’s development.

“The EUB organizes many events and research related to economic activities,” he explained. “However, information dissemination to readers, especially to businesses and economic corporations, is scarce.”

“Both the university staff and I have seen that the strength of VnEconomy / VET lies in disseminating information to readers, so I would like to propose that the editorial office create the conditions for both parties to cooperate. This is also a way for the media group to collect more data to enrich its content.”

He also emphasized that in addition to its professionalism, VnEconomy / VET is also a highly reputable media group.

“Before transitioning online, it already excelled in organizing events,” he went on. “However, the leadership of VnEconomy / VET not only maintained its professionalism but also supplemented aspects of specialization and delved deeper into economic models. Therefore, the UEB is eager to cooperate with VnEconomy / VET in this regard.”
