The State Treasury had issued VND182.2 trillion ($7.6 billion) of government bonds this year as of the end of November, accounting for only 45.6 per cent of the plan assigned by the Ministry of Finance but equal to 84.75 per cent of the proposed adjusted plan of VND215 trillion ($9.1 billion).

To meet the goal, the State Treasury held auctions of VND11 trillion ($464 million) worth of ten-year and 15-year government bonds in the week of November 28 - December 2. Fifty-six per cent of the bonds were successfully auctioned. In the week after, VND8 trillion ($338 million) of the same bonds are to be auctioned.
