Central Quang Nam province plans to upgrade National Highway No. 14E from next month, with total capital estimated at VND1.85 trillion ($78 million) from the State budget.

The road was built ten years ago and is now in disrepair.

Crossing Thang Binh, Hiep Duc, and Phuoc Son districts, upgrades to the highway will facilitate transport between cities and provinces on the central coast and those in the central highlands, thus contributing to boosting socio-economic development.

Deputy Head of the Department for Roads of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Anh and Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hong Quang have met with relevant agencies to discuss project implementation and seek measures to boost site clearance to kick off construction in early March.
