Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Gregory Harris from Principal Commercial Office at the US Consulate, Professor Nguyen Chan Hung, and Dr. Le Truong Giang, President of Ho Chi Minh City Public Health Association.

The cooperative agreement represents a significant milestone in Vietnam’s medical field and increases access to cutting-edge technology in comprehensive diagnostic imaging, with a specific focus on oncology and vascular diseases.

Under the agreement, the Care Pathway Solution showsite will serve as a platform to showcase the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging technology offered by GE HealthCare, including PACS, MR, CT, Bone Mineral Density, X-Ray, and Ultrasound. Activities at the showsite will include technical site visits, training and education sessions, and the generation of clinical evidence to further enrich GE HealthCare’s clinical evidence databases.

At the heart of this cooperation lies GE HealthCare’s care pathway approach to oncology and vascular diseases. Acknowledging that cancer care and vascular diseases require a personalized and multidisciplinary approach, GE HealthCare’s integrated cancer and vascular care solutions leverage digitization, artificial intelligence (AI), and innovative diagnostic imaging technologies and pharmaceuticals. These solutions aim to enhance diagnoses, drive productivity, increase value, improve speed and efficiency, and ultimately, improve overall patient health. The comprehensive care pathway will aim to facilitate early diagnosis based on diagnostic imaging technology, optimize treatment efficiency, and provide post-treatment care solutions.

Mr. Son Pham, Country Manager of GE HealthCare Vietnam, reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a personalized care pathway for each patient. “The cooperation with Bernard Healthcare opens up a great opportunity for GE HealthCare to realize these targets by providing the latest technologies and equipment as well as developing clinical education partnership programs,” he added.

The current healthcare landscape in Vietnam calls for proactive healthcare measures to address non-communicable diseases like cardiovascular diseases and cancer. Early screening, detection, and timely treatment are crucial for enhancing treatment effectiveness, reducing mortality rates, and overall healthcare costs. Early screening and detection model at Bernard Healthcare has been instrumental in achieving these goals through its proactive health screening and early detection model.

Ms. Nguyen Nam Phuong, CEO of Bernard Healthcare, expressed her gratitude for the advanced technology and comprehensive diagnostic imaging solution provided by GE HealthCare, enabling Bernard Healthcare to implement the Ningen Dock model in Vietnam. “This cooperation also facilitates professional connections with leading healthcare institutions worldwide, thereby ensuring global healthcare quality is accessible to customers and patients of Bernard Healthcare within Vietnam,” she emphasized.
