Cars imported from Southeast Asia and China up sharply

The number of completely-built-up (CBU) motor cars originating from Thailand, Indonesia, and China and imported into Vietnam continued to rise sharply in the first seven months of 2021, accounting for more than 90 per cent of total imports. Given Covid-19, it is likely that import turnover of CBU motor cars will fall significantly in the time to come.
