Vietnam exported 346,800 tons of cashew nuts in the first half of 2025, earning $2.36 billion, according to figures from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, as quoted by the Vietnam News Agency.
The figures represent a year-on-year reduction of 2.7% in volume but an increase of 20.4% in value.
The average export price in the six-month period stood at more than $6,805 per ton, surging 23.8% compared with the same period in 2024.
China, the US and the Netherlands remained Vietnam’s top three cashew importers in the period, accounting for 22%, 21.6%, and 8.4% of the total export value, respectively.
Vietnam targets cashew export revenue of $4.5 billion in 2025, soaring 2.7% year-on-year.
