CBU motor car imports down sharply

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the number of imported completely-built-up (CBU) motor cars fell 70.2 per cent in January compared to December, with imports from Indonesia down sharply. Auto parts and accessories imported into Vietnam in January were down 7.8 per cent. A large number of motor cars had previously been imported to meet sales demand prior to the Lunar New Year (Tet).
