Representatives from many Chinese groups expressed their interest in investing in Vietnam in the fields of artificial intelligent (AI), cloud computing, digital economy, railway and renewable energy, during a roundtable talks with Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh in China on September 17, on the sidelines of the 22nd China–ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the China–ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS).
Speaking at the roundtable talks, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized that Vietnam places great importance on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
He affirmed that Vietnam is committed to creating a transparent, open, and level playing field for foreign investors, including those from China, in line with international standards as the country enters a new phase of development.
