Citi has claimed top spot as Vietnam’s Best Digital Corporate/Institutional Bank in The World’s Best Digital Bank Awards 2022 from Global Finance magazine.

Entrants were evaluated on breadth of product offerings, success in migrating customers to digital platforms, acquiring and retaining new customers, and using digital technologies to improve business processes, cut costs, and deliver other benefits.

Citi has a rich set of digital solutions that help clients grow and expand their business. The bank continues to invest in its platforms and networks, which span more than 90 countries and territories and are available in more than 25 languages.

It has rolled out multiple digital solutions in Vietnam, including CitiDirect BE® Document Center and Digital Onboarding. These solutions streamline the handling of supporting documentation for cross-border payments and account opening. In recent years, Citi Vietnam Treasury and Trade Solutions announced a strategic partnership with Vietnam-based intermediary payment service providers (IPSPs) to facilitate consumer-to-business collections for corporate clients in the country. Under the partnership, Citi’s corporate clients in Vietnam can receive real-time payments from their customers for services including utilities, telecommunications, and credit card bills.

Citi was also named World’s Best Digital Bank by Global Finance for the 21st consecutive year. The bank was recognized as Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Bank globally and received multiple regional and subcategory awards in addition to 135 country awards.
