Nearly 55,760 people found jobs through a virtual job transaction session held on February 9, connecting them with 158 companies from Vietnam’s north.
Employment service centers in Hanoi, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Bac Kan, Hung Yen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, and Hai Phong jointly held the event, aiming to help companies recover production and business through finding the necessary workers, and also provided information on the labor market for workers, students, trainees, and employers based in the localities.
Bac Giang offered the largest number of positions (44,789), followed by Bac Ninh (2,540), Ninh Binh (2,473), Quang Ninh (2,415), and Hanoi (1,139).
Fields with major demand for workers include electronics manufacturing, garments and textiles, plastics production, construction, mechanics and welding, and sales and cashiers.
Job opportunities focused mainly on the 18-25 age group.
