A conference to promote trade, investment, and tourism between Hanoi and provinces in Vietnam’s northwestern region was held in Lao Cai province on November 23, the Government News has reported.

Entitled “Link to Grow”, the conference was organized by the Hanoi Trade, Tourism and Investment Promotion Center (HPA) and aimed to help businesses promote products and seek cooperative opportunities, contributing to raising public awareness about and effectively implementing the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign and accelerating tourism cooperation programs between Hanoi and localities around the country.

“The conference contributes to boosting socio-economic development in localities and strengthening cooperation and relations between Hanoi and localities in the country to connect and grow together,” said HPA Deputy Director Le Tu Luc.

Hanoi, as Vietnam’s capital, has always asserted its leading position in foreign investment attraction.

“Hanoi has continuously improved its investment and business environment, streamlining administrative procedures and shortening the time to process procedures to save time and money for individuals, organizations, and businesses,” Mr. Luc added.

The conference focused on introducing investment and business environments as well as orientations and policies to attract investment to Hanoi, Lao Cai, and other localities in the northwestern region. Participants also met and discussed specific matters of concern to investors and businesspeople.
