Construction of the Tra Khuc 1 Bridge in central Quang Ngai province is scheduled to commence on June 30 this year, according to local authorities.
The projected bridge will be located in Nghia Lo and Truong Quang Trong wards, and will have a length of over 577 m and a width of 28 m, with a design speed of 60 km/h.
Total investment capital is estimated at nearly VND2.2 trillion ($83.6 million).
The construction of the new Tra Khuc 1 Bridge is deemed urgent, as the old Tra Khuc bridge has deteriorated and can no longer accommodate the increasing traffic volume.
