The 16.52-ha depot expected to help facilitate logistics activities between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Tan Cang Tay Ninh Joint Stock Company, under Saigon Newport Corporation, officially put into operation a depot at Tan Cang Moc Bai Inland Container Depot (ICD) in southern Tay Ninh province, which borders Cambodia, on December 25.

The depot, covering 16.52 ha at Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone, has a total investment capital of VND522 billion (nearly $21 million).

This comprehensive logistics solution aims to bring ports closer to customers in Tay Ninh and the Vietnam-Cambodia border area.

The project includes container yards, CFS warehouses, control areas, parking lots, and storage spaces.

In the initial stage, 2 ha of the depot will be operational, featuring newly invested equipment, including state-of-the-art empty container forklifts, an advanced communication system, high-speed internet and Wi-Fi to support seamless operation at the ICD.

Additionally, a comprehensive security camera system will aid customs and cargo control.

Tan Cang Tay Ninh also employs the TTOTS software by TCIS to enhance operational efficiency and digitize port and logistics services.
