Central Da Nang city was honored as a State Agency with Excellent Digital Transformation at the Vietnam Digital Awards 2023 held in Hanoi on October 7.

The city was honored for four smart solutions: “Database platform and specialized State management software for shared use at district level”; “Solution for providing advanced public services”; “Parking monitoring system”; and “4D digital map application in traffic infrastructure management”.

Launched by the Vietnam Digital Media Association (VDCA) on April 18, the awards received over 350 entries from agencies, organizations, and enterprises around the country.

Dr. Nguyen Quan, former Minister of Science and Technology and Chairman of the award’s 2023 Judging Panel, said the judges focused on evaluating data technologies and platforms as well as businesses and localities that have done well in building databases in accordance with the standard framework from the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The awards have received over 16,000 entries and honored nearly 400 agencies, businesses, and organizations over the past six years for their excellent digital transformation and outstanding digital transformation products and solutions.
