Dak Lak looking to attract more investment

Ban Mai -

Focus of central highlands’ province to be on administrative reform, greater benefits for investors, and developments in infrastructure.

The central highlands’ Dak Lak province will create a favorable investment environment in order to attract more investment following the introduction of its draft master plan in the 2021-2030 period and vision to 2050.

The province will promote administrative reform, increase benefits for investors, develop technical and social infrastructure, and enhance economic diversification, particularly in the fields of agriculture, industry, and tourism.

In order to mobilize capital from businesses and investors to meet socio-economic targets, the province will also take measures to remove obstacles relating to mechanisms and policies and fully complete its regulations.

Under planning, the province will focus resources on investing and developing socio-economic infrastructure and a modern transport network and accelerating investment in key projects to strengthen regional connectivity, such as building the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway, upgrading Buon Ma Thuot Airport, and building the Phu Xuan Industrial Park.

Dak Lak province lies in the middle of the central highlands’ region and the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia development triangle.
