Gold prices in Vietnam fell sharply on September 25 following four consecutive sessions of gains.

SJC-branded gold bars were sold at VND134.5 million ($5,075) per tael, down VND600,000 ($22.6) from the previous day. The buying price also dropped by VND600,000 to VND132.5 million ($5,000) per tael.

The decline came after a four-session rally in which both selling and buying prices rose by VND3.1 million ($128) per tael.
