The Dong Nai Department of Natural Resources and Environment province has proposed that authorities auction 17 land plots with a total area of nearly 410 ha.
The auctions are expected to collect some VND7.7 trillion ($314 million), which will be used for the southern province’s infrastructure development.
Of the total, there are six land plots left over from 2023 and eleven new land plots.
The auctions are scheduled to take place from May to November.
Dong Nai is striving to increase income sources from land auctions in order to have sufficient capital for public investment projects, according to Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Phi.
Land auctions have recently contributed to making use of the province’s land resources while promoting the establishment of urban areas and housing development.
