Southern Dong Nai province will create the necessary conditions for investors to build social housing, according to the Provincial People’s Committee.
The province has nine social housing projects currently being implemented on a total area of over 52 ha and supplying 10,200 units. Total investment is estimated at more than VND10.1 trillion ($420 million).
Under the province’s housing development plan to 2025, it will allocate over 700 ha to build 66 social housing projects for low-income earners and workers. These projects will provide some 10,000 units.
The Committee said the province will review and adjust related regulations to help tackle difficulties facing investors in investment procedures.
The provincial Department of Planning and Investment said it has simplified administrative procedures for social housing projects. The maximum time needed to deal with procedures is estimated at 153 days.
