Draft power plan sets green energy targets

Under the draft National Power Development Plan for the 2021-2030 period and vision to 2045 (Electricity Plan 8), solar power is to account for 5.4-5.9 per cent of total capacity by 2030 and 8.4 per cent by 2045. Onshore and offshore wind power is to account for 6.5 per cent by 2030.
