Ericsson announced on November 13 the appointment of Ms. Rita Mokbel as the new Head of Ericsson Vietnam.

Ms. Mokbel will be responsible for managing and supervising the business operations of Ericsson in Vietnam while continuing her role as a member of the regional executive leadership team of Ericsson Southeast Asia, Oceania and India.

With over 14 years at Ericsson in both regional and global senior leadership roles, she has demonstrated her experience in general management, strategy building, sales, business development, operations management and technology consultation.

Taking on her new job in Vietnam, Ms. Mokbel said she looks forward to working with local mobile service providers to ensure the country stays at the forefront of 5G developments.

“We will leverage Ericsson’s technology leadership to contribute to Vietnam’s technological advancement and economic growth,” she said.
