Four more members of Party Central Committee to step down

At its meeting in Hanoi on August 3, the 13th Party Central Committee agreed for four members to step down at their requests, according a report from the Government News.

These Party Central Committee members are Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai who was also a Secretary of the  Party Central Committee and  former Government Inspector General, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh who was former Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky, and Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Chau Van Lam.

The four were found to have violated the Party's rules and anti-corruption legislation, according to an announcement released following the meeting.
