The Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee in the north-central region has issued a decision approving planning for the Ky Nam urban area in Ky Anh commune.

Under the planning, the projected urban area is to cover over 1,792 ha with a population of an estimated 7,700 by 2035.

The planning is aimed at promoting urban development and exploiting the land fund effectively.

It will develop a modern and civilized residential area with comprehensive social and technical infrastructure, planned in line with the planning for Ky Anh commune by 2035 approved by the Prime Minister in 2018 and with adjustments ratified by the Prime Minister in January this year.

The provincial People’s Committee has asked relevant departments and agencies to guide authorities in Ky Anh commune on implementing the planning in line with regulations.
