Northern Hai Phong port city plans to train 1,000-1,200 engineers and experts in the fields of electronics and semiconductor for the city and neighboring localities during the 2024-2027 periods, according to the city’s Economic Zone Management Board.

The training will be jointly carried out by the board, the municipal Department of Science and Technology, Hai Phong University and the High-tech Park of Ho Chi Minh City.

The training is part of the cooperation program between Hai Phong and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Under the program, some 3,000-5,000 skillful workers in the field of semiconductor will be trained to meet workforce demand from businesses operating in the city and neighboring localities.
