Hanoi will continue focusing on tackling difficulties and obstacles to create conditions for businesses to develop stably and firmly and promote production and trade as one among key tasks for the remaining months of the year.
The key tasks are set by the city’s plan to boost the socio-economic development for the second half of 2024, which was approved by the municipal People’s Council at its ongoing 17th session on July 2.
Under the plan, the city will stabilize the capital's economy, control inflation, promote new growth drivers; effectively restructure the economy in connection with renewing growth drivers; and improve the productivity, quality, efficiency, and competitiveness of the local economy.
Measures will be taken to accelerate urban technical infrastructure and improve government management of urban planning, land use and the environment.
City authorities will continue to speed up administrative reform and build mechanisms and policies to promote socio-economic development.
