The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council on October 11 approved ten important resolutions to promote the city’s socio-economic development in 2022 and the 2021-2025 period, including a resolution on adjusting public investment capital in 2022. This would increase public investment by VND415 billion ($17.42 million) this year and cut VND486 billion ($20.4 million) from ODA loans for the city’s Green Traffic Development Project.
At a national conference with businesses on August 11, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the government will listen to suggestions from the business community to resolve issues and to contribute to socio-economic development and the sustainable development of enterprises.
The Kim Thanh District People’s Committee in northern Hai Duong province has officially kicked off the East - West Road project (phase 1) in the district. The project has a length of nearly 15 km with total investment of VND1.5 trillion ($64 million) from the local budget.
