Hanoi welcomed 26.07 million visitors in the first nine months of 2025, a year-on-year rise of 23.8%, according to the municipal Department of Tourism.
The figure includes 5.54 million international arrivals and 20.53 million domestic tourists.
Tourism revenue during the period was estimated at VND98.36 trillion ($3.7 billion), up 20.7% year-on-year, underscoring the capital’s strong recovery momentum and growing appeal.
In September alone, the city received 4.17 million visitors, nearly doubling from the same period last year. Of the total, 667,000 were foreign travelers, up 46.8%.
Hanoi has set a target of over 30 million tourist arrivals in 2025.
The city is currently home to 3,761 accommodation facilities offering more than 71,000 rooms, including 85 hotels and apartment complexes rated from one to five stars with nearly 12,000 rooms, ensuring diverse options for visitors.
