Ho Chi Minh City has announced a list of 28 green projects seeking investment under the public-private partnership (PPP) form with total capital of nearly VND160 trillion ($6.66 billion).

The projects were announced at a conference on January 24 to call for investment in the city’s green growth.

Six are high-tech projects, including three on producing electronics and chip semiconductors that have total investment capital of over VND4.1 trillion ($170 million).

There are nine transport projects worth more than VND97 trillion ($4.04 billion), including the construction of Can Gio Bridge connecting Can Gio coastal district with the city center and surrounding areas, and the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway linking the city with southern Tay Ninh province.
