The annual conference was held in HCMC on August 30, with the theme “Enhancing advantages for sustainable future via talent management digitalization”.

More than 800 business leaders and senior human resources (HR) managers took part in the HR Tech Conference 2023 - Enhancing advantages for sustainable future via talent management digitalization, held by the TopCV Viet Nam Joint Stock Company (TopCV) in both the online and in-person formats at Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection, in Ho Chi Minh City on August 30, where they heard of the latest trends in human resources management around the world and in Vietnam.

The conference affirmed its stature with the participation of 16 experienced speakers from Vietnam and the world, who shared their practical experience on the potential of applying technology in talent management to build a strong human resources team to accompany the business in overcoming the recession and maintaining long-term sustainable development.

Opening the conference session with the topic “Management Transformation & Talent Management in the Digital Era”, Dr. Gian Tu Trung, Founder of the PACE Institute of Management, offered a new context on many large-scale changes in terms of politics, culture, society, and especially economics. The emergence of human and machine (via technology) factors have had a significant influence on business management in the digital era.

He proposed a new way of defining “talent” more deeply as “righteous talent” and also profoundly spoke of how technology has helped transform management and culture as well as talent management, thereby enhancing advantages for businesses to adapt to unpredictable changes.

The conference was followed by the Panel Discussion on HR Tech solutions, with the special participation of Mr. Kazumasa Yoshida, Director and Managing Executive Officer of the Mynavi Corporation, and experienced speakers such as Ms. Quyen Le, HR Director South East Asia and Apparel Divisional Reward Head at Coats,and Mr. Duong Quoc Tu, Deputy Head of the Digital Division & Deputy Head of the Retail Banking Division at SHB. The highlight of the HR Tech Conference 2023 was the in-depth session “The power of AI & Big Data in optimizing recruitment efficiency”, featuring two speakers: Mr. Hieu Tran, CEO of TopCV, and Mr. Nhat Anh Vu, CPTO of TopCV.

Mr. Hieu focused on trends and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in technology companies around the world and the potential of this technology in Vietnam, especially in the recruitment field. Mr. Nhat Anh Vu then presented the intensive story of how TopCV has integrated AI and Big Data to resolve two challenges: The first is to connect “the right person” to the “right job” at the “right time”, and the second is about balancing supply and demand factors in recruitment through the distribution of job-post effectiveness, thereby enhancing advantages to help businesses attract talenteffectively and at optimal cost, which creates more opportunities to build strong human resources matching the corporate culture and with long-term engagement.
