After years of delays and numerous obstacles involving land allocation and adjustments to total investment capital, construction of infrastructure for the Quang Trung Industrial Cluster project in the southern province of Dong Nai is now ready to commence  in August.

On April 16, 2025, Mr. Duong Minh Dung, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, met with Dai Dung Mechanical Construction Trading Corporation and relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to discuss the project's implementation.

According to a report from Dai Dung Mechanical Construction Trading Corporation, the project, located in Thong Nhat district,  received in-principle approval from the Provincial People's Committee in 2007 and an establishment decision in 2015, but infrastructure construction has yet to begin. The company has now confirmed its readiness to start construction in August, 2025.

Provincial leaders have requested the investor to complete all investment procedures by June 2025. They also emphasized the need to urgently adjust the project's design and planning to align with Green Industrial Cluster standards, reflecting the sustainable development trend being encouraged nationwide.
