Vietnam has been busy adopting its strategy to develop a carbon market as part of its net-zero commitment.

Among the seven projects already identified in the Resource Mobilization Plan for JETP (RMP), three projects have successfully secured funding.

Japan is currently the second-largest investor in the northern province, with a total capital of over $2 billion.

At the October 18 conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh underlined that to achieve economic growth of over 8% in 2025 and create momentum for double-digit growth in the following years, investment, especially public investment, with its role as a key growth driver, must be stronger accelerated.

The project aims to build synchronized infrastructure adapting to climate change, contributing to reducing urban flooding, developing a regional transport system.

Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister highlights energy’s vital role, not only in ensuring national energy security but also in supporting sustainable socio-economic development.
