The Korean Seafood Festival opened at MM Mega Market An Phu in Ho Chi Minh City on May 22, introducing a wide range of seafood and cooking solutions.
These products are available for sale at discounts of 10-20%.
Lasting through June, the festival focuses on promoting specialities, such as abalone, flounder, and frozen oysters of South Korea.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Kim Ki Hoon, officer of export processing promotion at the Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, said Vietnam ranks fourth among countries engaging in food exchanges with South Korea.
Business Manager of MM Mega Market Nguyen Duc Toan said demand for consuming Korean seafood has kept increasing. The festival is aimed at introducing Korean specialties to Vietnamese consumers.
