Northern Lao Cai province has set up four taskforces to deal with major issues relating to business and investment, provincial authorities have said.
The first taskforce will work to speed up construction and the disbursement of capital for public projects this year.
The second will implement plans to purchase public assets with funding from the State budget in the fields of healthcare, education, and vocational training.
The third will help tackle difficulties and obstacles facing industrial projects.
And the fourth will be responsible for disbursing capital in Lao Cai’s national target programs during the 2021-2025 period.
The province recorded gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth of 11 per cent last year, while total industrial production value reached over VND51.1 trillion ($2.1 billion).
