The Logistics Technology Village (Logistech 2021) was officially launched on September 25 within the framework of Techfest Vietnam 2021 and is expected to promote the digital transformation of Vietnam’s logistics sector and make a breakthrough post-pandemic.

It was established to provide a useful playground to startups and young businesses to promote creativity in applied technology and to lay a foundation to build a national economy of comprehensive development. It is also a place to encourage innovation and promote digital transformation in order for Vietnam’s logistics sector to grow after the pandemic is brought under control.

Many experts said the application of technology in the logistics sector is an inexorable trend. Applying technological solutions to support transportation will help connect parties such as shippers, vehicle owners, drivers, distributors, and other stakeholders in the supply chain.

Logistech 2021 also held the first seminar in its chain of activities with the theme: “Supply chain recovery with breakthrough logistics technology”, to discuss and share solutions for technology applications in the operation of the logistic sector while protecting the economy’s key supply chains.

Social distancing had a severe impact on logistics businesses. Technology will therefore help supply chains operate more efficiently, optimize costs, save time, and bring more value to customers as well as the national economy.
