The locality aims to achieve the export target of $7.5 billion in 2024.
According to the local authorities, Long An is currently the leading province in the Mekong Delta in terms of exports and among the country's top provinces and cities in terms of trade turnover.
Its strong and key export products, including agricultural products, processed food, wood products, textiles and garments, and supporting industrial products, have contributed significantly to the province's export success.
In the export strategy, in order to increase competitiveness and take advantage of its strengths, the business community and partners have requested Long An to continue paying attention to developing logistics services. This includes focusing on investing in cold storage facilities, cold transportation, and the preservation of agricultural products for export orders that require longer transportation times.
