The Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) and Amazon Global Selling Vietnam co-organized a conference titled "Export Breakthrough: Vietnamese Brands Soaring Globally" on July 23.

On the occasion, they also announced the establishment of a three-year partnership to jointly implement the "V-Brands Go Global with Amazon" program.

The partnership shares a common goal of creating a successful launchpad for Vietnamese businesses in the global e-commerce market.

Running from 2025 to 2027, the program sets two main objectives: to provide a comprehensive training and online export certification program for 1,000 Vietnamese businesses, and to support 30 national brands in strengthening their international presence through e-commerce with Amazon.

Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director General of the VIETRADE (under the Ministry of Trade and Industry), stated that proactively diversifying trade promotion activities in the digital environment is no longer an option but a prerequisite for enhancing the competitiveness, adaptability, and sustainable development of Vietnamese enterprises in the international market.

Mr. Larry Hu, Head of Amazon Global Selling Southeast Asia, for his part, remarked that this marks a transformative phase for Vietnam's digital commerce. He noted that Amazon Global Selling recognizes that e-commerce export is becoming a key driver in Vietnam's international trade and brand development strategy. Through the partnership with VIETRADE, Amazon will support businesses in developing economic regions to innovate their products, digitally transform their operations, and expand globally.
