Made in Moscow stand opens at Vietnam Expo

Fourteen Moscow companies from various industries are showcasing products at April 3-6 fair.

A Made in Moscow stand, featuring 14 Moscow companies from various industries, opened on April 3 at Vietnam Expo 2024, being held at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center (ICE) between April 3 and 6.

Items being showcased include equipment, electronics, IT and cloud solutions, and products in med tech, the beauty industry, and the food sector from the Russian capital.

These include, among others, personal protective equipment from the NPK Pozhkhimzashchita LLC, laboratory and medical equipment from the Inpren LLC, solutions from biotech company the Algimed Techno LLC, and relay protection and automation systems from the TEKVEL LLC for electric power industry facilities.

Many exhibitors are sophisticated exporters and renowned far beyond Russia. Particularly striking is the sales geography of NDT equipment from the Intron Plus LLC, which covers 23 developed and dynamically-developing countries on nearly all continents. Confectionery products from the CONFECTIONERY FACTORY POBEDA LLC, meanwhile, are familiar among consumers in Yemen, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iran, Israel, Bulgaria, the US, Germany, China, the Philippines, Cuba, and CIS countries.

Through its participation in the trade fair, the SPUTNIX LLC, the private space company of the Sytronics JSC, intends to secure new partnerships. As of now, the manufacturer of nanosatellites, mission control centers, and software has been exporting its products to Belarus, Malaysia, Nigeria, Montenegro, and Kazakhstan.

“Visitors at the trade fair visitors will be able to become acquainted with a mock-up model of a spacecraft with AIS - the system for the automatic identification of vessels, determining their dimensions, course, and other data,” said Mr. Vladislav Ivanenko, CEO of the company. “AIS is particularly relevant for the security of private yachts and small craft, but is also used in other types of transport, like railways, road, and freight, etc., in regions where ground communications are absent or hampered. Another of our solutions will be of interest to employees in the educational system. The OrbiCraft kit helps school, college, and university students study the basics of programming and design and practice spacecraft assembly.”

The Cloud4U provider from Moscow is also expanding its presence in overseas markets. Since 2015, the company has been supplying infrastructure and software cloud solutions for business digitalization in the CIS and in MENA countries, as well as in Türkiye and the EU. It hopes to find potential customers, partners, investors, and co-investors at the trade fair. The Loymax LLC, another member of Moscow’s high-tech industry, has showcased the capabilities of its platform for the management of loyalty programs and the automation of marketing communications for chain retailing.

Meanwhile, the Leistern JSC, a Moscow manufacturer of injectable cosmetic preparations and professional care cosmeceutics, hopes to gain a footing in Vietnam and other countries in Southeast Asia. For nearly ten years, its products have been selling in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, and it is now engaged in talks about deliveries to Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Iran, and Kuwait. The Geltek-Medica LLC, another member of Moscow’s beauty industry, will also debut its cosmetics abroad.

The participation of Moscow companies at the trade fair was arranged by the Moscow Export Center, founded by the Moscow government to promote products from the city’s manufacturers and service vendors in foreign markets.

 “Moscow is the leader in export deliveries among all the Russian regions,” said Mr. Vitaly Stepanov, CEO of the Moscow Export Center. “Vietnam is a crucial market for businesses from Moscow, and the Moscow Export Center has been deploying a wide range of tools to strengthen business ties with the country. With facilitation from the Moscow Export Center, 100+ businesses have already taken part in negotiations with partners from Vietnam, and the opening of the Made in Moscow stand at Vietnam Expo marks yet another milestone in this direction. Moreover, an ambassador for exporters of Moscow has commenced operations in Vietnam recently. Representatives from Moscow business in other countries help search for proper contacts, personally support deals, and accelerate the export path for Moscow companies.”
