The mid-year 2023 macro-economic roundtable dialogue is scheduled for July 11 in Hanoi to discuss measures to promote aggregate demand to boost economic growth in the new circumstances.
The dialogue will be co-hosted by the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, the National Economics University, and VnEconomy / Vietnam Economic Times.
The aim is to establish the actual condition of the global and Vietnamese economies in the first half of 2023, and assess aggregate demand in the economy in the new context and obtain opinions and feedback from both domestic and foreign economic experts, associations, and businesses. Participants will then propose timely strategic solutions to recover aggregate demand and enhance economic growth once more.
It is expected to see the participation of some 100 delegates from relevant ministries, agencies, and international organizations in Vietnam, such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the United National Development Program (UNDP).
