Ministry publishes list of delayed projects in Quang Binh

Nhĩ Anh -

Most projects named are in the central province’s hospitality industry.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has made public a list of delayed projects in central Quang Binh province, most of which are in the hospitality industry.

The information disclosure is based on an earlier report from the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Natural Resources, and Clause 3, Article 15 of Government Decree No. 43/2014 detailing a number of articles of the Land Law.

Clause 3 states that provincial-level People’s Committees shall review, handle, and publicize on their websites investment projects that have failed to put land into use for 12 consecutive months or have land use schedules that are 24 months late compared with those stated in project documents; projects that have their land use term extended; and projects that have late land use schedules due to force majeure; and provide information to be publicized on the websites of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the General Department of Land Administration.

Some of the 12 investment projects are of large scale, such as the Thanh Ha - Da Nhay resort project (nearly 162,000 sq m); the Golden City resort project (over 85,000 sq m); the Indochina Quang Binh Resort (over 71,300 sq m); the 5-star Pullman Hotel (over 56,600 sq m); an eco-hotel project (nearly 47,500 sq m); another resort project (nearly 42,300 sq m); and the Linh Thanh High-Quality Stone Powder Plant (over 123,000 sq m).
