The General Statistics Office (GSO) began a survey of businesses on April 1 to collect information for the management and formation of socio-economic and business development policies and plans, according to GSO Deputy General Director Nguyen Trung Tien.
The survey will cover enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative unions, and people’s credit funds along with production and business facilities of enterprises in all 63 cities and provinces.
Information collected will also be used to build a national statistical criteria system, compile the White Book on Vietnamese Businesses 2021, and update the enterprise database.
The survey will be carried out until May 30.
Results will be published in the second quarter of 2024.
