A national e-commerce week is scheduled to take place from November 25 to December 1, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
As part of the program, the Vietnam Online Friday 2024 will be held from November 29 to noon of December 1.
The 60-hour Online Friday 2024 will be available on shopping websites and apps under the program with attractive shopping coupons.
The national e-commerce week will feature online and in-person conferences about e-commerce and digital technology, experience of digital technology and activities raising public awareness of e-commerce.
This year’s program will focus on recognizing and promoting the position of made-in-Vietnam products, and supporting local products to be exported through e-commerce channels.
The ministry will organize spaces for people to experience e-commerce and digital technology as well as exhibition showcasing digital products and solutions of Vietnamese enterprises.
The program will support businesses, especially small- and medium-sized enterprises in promoting digital transformation, improving skills and capacity to apply digital technology in production and online business activities, applying digital transformation models and tools to promote and enhance recognition of local products in the online environment, and updating trends, policies and regulations in e-commerce business.
