Nghe An aims to enter the country's top 10 FDI destinations

Central Nghe An province is expected to achieve nearly $1.7 billion of FDI capital in 2024, targeting a spot among the top 10 centrally-run cities and provinces nationwide for the third consecutive year.

As of November 20, the province has attracted nearly $1.6 billion of FDI capital, much higher than the figure of more than $1.6 billion recorded in 2023. This figure represented a remarkable 66.8% increase from 2022 and  marked a milestone when Nghe An exceeded $1 billion of FDI capital for the first time.

With $961.3 million and $1.603 billion of FDI capital recorded in 2022 and 2023, respectively, Nghe An entered the top ten centrally-run cities and provinces nationwide in terms of FDI attaction in the two consecutive years.
