North-central Nghe An province posted record export revenue in 2023 of $3.11 billion, a year-on-year increase of 22.6 per cent, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
Its import turnover was estimated at $1.32 billion, up 4.15 per cent.
Major export products include limestone, clinker, earphones, electronic products, mobile phone speakers, and garments and textiles.
A number of FDI projects in the province are scheduled to be put into operation in 2024, which should help increase export volume and value even further.
