Nghe An to have new 500-ha IP

Province has developed more than 10 industrial parks to date.

North-central Nghe An province has secured approval to develop a new industrial park (IP) in its southeastern economic zone.

The Tho Loc Industrial Park, in the first phase, covers 500 ha.

Under Decision No. 57/QD-TTg signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang on February 8, the Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee is responsible for directing the southeastern economic zone’s Management Board to ask the project investor to determine the exact amount of investment capital.

It must also update the project’s location and size in the adjusted master planning for the development of the southeastern economic zone; the Nghe An Provincial Planning in the 2021-2030 period and vision to 2050; and the provincial-level land use plan in the 2021-2025 period.

The province must ensure that land revocations and land use transfers comply with laws on land and documents approved by relevant authorities.

Nghe An has developed more than ten IPs to date, including large-scale and operational facilities such as VSIP (367.6 ha); K WHA (498 ha); Hoang Mai I (264.77 ha); Dong Hoi (457.07 ha); and Nam Cam (327.83 ha); among others.
