Authorities of Ninh Binh Province in northern Vietnam and Asan City of South Korea signed a cooperation agreement on October 31, opening up new opportunities for extensive collaboration in various sectors.
The agreement was inked on the sidelines of talks held between the two sides in Ninh Binh.
Since establishing their relationship in 2016, Ninh Binh and Asan have maintained regular high-level delegation exchanges and achieved effective cooperation in several areas, including agriculture, human resource training, and cultural exchange, said Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc, Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee.
Under the new phase of cooperation, both localities agreed to further deepen ties in five key areas: investment and trade; agriculture and rural development; education and training; science, technology, and digital transformation; and people-to-people exchange.
Mr. Oh Sae Hyun, Mayor of Asan City, noted that in addition to labor cooperation, the two sides will also expand joint efforts in high-tech agriculture, eco-tourism, human resource development, digital transformation, and science and technology.
